Hiccup blinked at his mumbling at the beginning at the chipmunk’s sentence, “What did you—” but he quickly dropped it and felt a punch to his arm but not as hard as Astrid’s always were. It’s good to be back home. He returned Alvin’s smile and spoke, “Oh you know, just traveling around and seeing sights I couldn’t before when I was in Berk. What about you?”
“Nothing- I said.. nothing.” Alvin chuckled, lying of course, but Hiccup didn’t need to know what he said. Alvin just smiled, glad to see Hiccup back; it really hadn’t been the same without the guy around, and.. Alvin missed him. “Really? That must’ve been really cool. Didja have fun?” of course he had fun, traveling the world was a great experience and Alvin knew that personally. “Oh, me? Not a lot, really. You missed Simon! But, he took off a while ago without warning.” Alvin frowned, but didn’t want to show how worried he really was. “I’m also being tormented by a, well, ex-girlfriend and just hanging around Brittany a lot.” he explained the main things that have happened since Hiccup had gone.
“Yeah, it was actually cool.” The male seemed to have been interested into the chipmunks life and smiled as he spoke of what had happened to him while he was away. His face fell when he spoke of missing Simon. Simon was a male that had washed up on the beaches of Berk one fine morning and seemed to be looking for someone or where, Hiccup greeted him oh so long ago and they acquainted each other and later become friends. The brunette remembered it all like it was yesterday; because of his great mind, he remembered a lot of events that had happened with himself and how he met every single one of his friends. “Well, tell him I say hi next time you see him.” His frown changed into a smile once again. “Girlfriends, especially ex girlfriends huh— -seems rough.” Hiccup had remember a time when Astrid and himself were dating but he just didn’t feel anything at the time because he spent so much time with his best friend, Toothless—wondered where he was—and still stayed friends with Astrid.
